Mulcahy Law Firm's Community Association Classes

MULCAHY LAW FIRM, P.C. provides classes and seminars for both board members and managers (free of charge) to ensure that they obtain and develop essential skills, develop a knowledge base and stay current with cutting edge information about community associations. Our educational programs will help association members, directors and community managers understand their legal duties and responsibilities allowing for the potential to prevent and minimize legal problems altogether.



OCTOBER

Glendale HOA Academy:

Arizona law has been implemented regarding prohibition of rentals. This class will cover a discussion of Arizona law, rental restrictions, necessary requirements for renting, grandfather clauses, how to monitor rentals and renter’s liability.

NOVEMBER

Tempe HOA Academy:
11/1- 1:00- 2:30 p.m.- HOA environmental issues, future trends and a Tempe Climate Action Plan update

Learn more about increasingly common environmental issues (anti-smoking, clotheslines, artificial turf, solar energy devices and backyard gardens) and emerging trends (VRBO rentals, unusual pets, changing owner and renter demographics) and their impacts on community associations. Participants will also receive an update on Tempe’s Climate Action Plan which encompasses anything from supporting renewable energy to electric and autonomous vehicles and extreme heat. This class will be co-taught with the Mulcahy Law Firm accompanied by City of Tempe Sustainability staff.
