Amending Association Documents and Open Meeting Law and Rules for Recording Meetings Do your association’s CC&Rs and bylaws contain unclear or contradictory language; developer language long after the developer is gone and/or provisions that conflict with Arizona and federal law? If you answered yes to one of these questions, your association’s documents may need to be amended. This class will teach an easy to follow 5-step process for amending association documents. We will also cover open meeting law requirements such as: associations must allow tape recording or videotaping of open meetings, any portion of a meeting may be closed provided certain requirements are met. Lastly, we will discuss emergency meetings, telephone quorums, quorums and suggestions for video and tape recording of board meetings.
